These Terms govern your use of RF Wi-Fi Mapper ("the app"). They add to the Google Play Terms of Service that already apply to anything you install from Google Play — they do not replace them. Where this document and Google's terms conflict on a matter Google governs (billing, refunds, the store itself), Google's terms prevail.
1. Acceptance
You accept these Terms by using the app. The app also shows them at the two points where they matter — when you first set it up, and when you buy the Pro unlock — with a link to this page.
If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the app.
2. Your licence
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app.
The licence is for one natural person, on devices belonging to that person. You may install and use the app on your own devices — a phone and a tablet, or a replacement phone, are the normal case and are expressly fine.
What is not permitted:
- transferring, selling, renting or sharing your account or licence with anyone else;
- using a single personal licence to equip a team, staff, or the members of an organisation;
- sharing account credentials so that several people can work under one purchase;
- reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, modifying, creating derivative works from, or redistributing the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
A team or organisation that needs the app for several people needs a licence per person. If that describes you, write to us — that is a conversation, not a problem.
Device limits. The app currently applies no numerical device limit. We may introduce a reasonable limit later to give effect to the rule above. If we do, it will be shown in the app, together with a way to release a device you no longer use, so that a limit is something you can see and manage rather than something you discover by failing. We will not remove access from a licence that is being used as described in this section.
3. What Pro covers, and what a pass leaves behind
Pro is sold two ways — a 24-hour pass and a one-time lifetime purchase. They unlock the same features; they differ only in how long they last.

The free limits apply when something is created, never to what already exists. Nothing you have made is hidden, locked or deleted because a pass ended or because a limit was reached.
When a 24-hour pass ends, the work it paid for stays yours:
- projects you created or extended with Pro stay open, readable, renameable and deletable;
- their PDF report can still be generated and regenerated, with different options, for as long as you keep the project;
- reports already saved on your device stay there and stay shareable;
- a survey that was open at the moment the pass ended can be finished, until you leave it.
What needs Pro again is adding to that project: another plan, another survey, or new measurements in it. Buying a pass again, or the lifetime unlock, restores all of it.
The lifetime purchase covers all core offline map survey processing features. Future optional cloud-based services, server synchronizations, or AI-powered features may require separate usage credits or subscriptions to cover API processing costs.
This boundary is stated up front deliberately. "Lifetime" refers to the features the app performs on your device, which cost nothing per use. It is not a commitment to absorb the ongoing per-use cost of any service we might add later that is billed to us by a third party.
Any AI-generated recommendation the app may offer in future is a suggestion, not professional advice; sections 4 and 5 apply to it in full.
4. Accuracy of measurements and coverage maps
The app records signal-strength readings at the points you mark, and renders a heatmap between those points.
The heatmap is produced by a mathematical interpolation algorithm — currently inverse-distance weighting (IDW) — and is not a measurement. Colour shown at a location where you did not take a reading is an estimate calculated from nearby readings. Its accuracy depends on how many points you took, how they were spread, the device you used, and physical conditions at the time. Radio conditions also change: the same room can read differently an hour later.
Readings are further affected by the measuring device itself — different phones report signal strength against different references, which is why the app records which device captured a session and warns when a report compares sessions taken on different devices.
The app is not a certified measurement instrument, and does not replace a professional site survey performed with calibrated equipment.
Wireless performance is not something the app can guarantee. It depends on many factors outside the app's control — building materials, interference from other equipment, the client devices in use, access-point configuration, and changes in the radio environment after the survey. A coverage map is evidence about signal strength at the moment it was measured, not a promise about how a network will behave.
Reports and visualisations are provided for informational and engineering-estimation purposes. You are solely responsible for verifying survey results before relying on them for equipment purchasing, network design, construction, or installation decisions. Any physical work arising from them is yours, and should rest on your own professional judgement rather than on the visualisation alone.
A report describes one moment. It reflects the data available when the survey was taken, and is not an ongoing representation of current network conditions — a report sent to a client stays accurate only for as long as the conditions it recorded do.
5. Professional use
The app is intended for technical assessment and engineering assistance.
It does not certify compliance with any building code, telecommunications regulation, safety standard, or contractual performance requirement. Where certification or regulatory compliance is required, use appropriate professional equipment and procedures.
6. Reports you export
Reports and images you generate are saved on your device and leave it only when you choose to share them. They can carry what you entered — client name, site address, the network name (SSID) that was surveyed — so you are responsible for the reports and data you choose to export or share, and for whatever duties you owe the client whose site they describe.
7. Availability and limitation of liability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app, or of any online service it relies on.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, property damage, or costs of reinstallation or rework, arising from use of the app or from reliance on its measurements, heatmaps or reports.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you. Consumers keep every mandatory right their local law gives them — in the EEA, the UK and many other places, those rights cannot be signed away, and these Terms do not attempt to.
8. Purchases and refunds
Pro comes two ways, both billed by Google Play: a one-time purchase that never expires, and a 24-hour pass — a prepaid plan that ends by itself and does not auto-renew, so nothing is ever charged again unless you buy it again. Work created during a pass stays available afterwards — section 3 sets out exactly what that means, and what needs Pro again. We do not process payments and never receive your card, bank or billing details — see the Privacy Policy.
Refunds are handled by Google Play, not by us. Google offers a self-service refund window in the Play Store order history; after it closes, requests go to Google Play Support. Since we neither take the payment nor hold your payment details, we cannot issue a refund ourselves. If a request is refused and you believe it should not have been, you are welcome to contact us: we will review the situation and, where appropriate, help you take it up with Google Play.
Statutory withdrawal rights. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you may have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. That right can end once delivery starts with your express consent, which is what the confirmation in Google's purchase flow records. Where the right applies it applies whatever these Terms say, and Google Play is where it is exercised.
The purchase is tied to the Google account that made it, and can be restored on devices signed into that account.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
We may restrict or end access where these Terms are breached — in practice, where a personal licence is being used to equip a team or has been transferred to someone else. Where we do that on a paid licence, our standard response is to refund the purchase, so that ending access does not also keep the money. We would rather refund a mismatch than argue about it.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and publishing the new version at this URL. Changes are not retroactive: they do not narrow what an already-completed purchase covers.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you reside.
