No spectrum analyser, no site-survey rig. The crosshair stays fixed at the centre of the screen — you move the plan under it, not the other way round.

From your camera or your gallery. Photograph the paper plan on the wall if that is what you have.

Pan and zoom so the crosshair sits over your real position, then place the point. Coordinates are stored as fractions of the image, so pins stay put at any zoom.

Set the bar — a signal threshold and the share of the area that must reach it — and every plan is answered against it: pass or fail, plan by plan. That is the part a heatmap alone cannot do.
